Cube-shaped neodymium magnet is composed of an iron/boron/rare earth alloy which is currently the most powerful magnetic alloy. The magnet is coated with an anti-corrosion covering (chrome and nickel alloy) to protect it from impacts and to give an attractive finish.
Pull strength decreases if the magnet isn’t in direct contact with the ferrous surface.
