Soft rubber strip containing strong neodymium magnets. Length 1m
1m long flexible strip with double-sided magnetisation. The flexidyme strip is completely flexible: it can roll up on itself and will magnetize on curved metal surfaces: car body, steel cylinder, curved or crenellated siding, etc.
Length: 1m (plus or minus 5mm)
Width: 3cm (plus or minus 3mm)
Number and type of magnets: 24 round magnets with a diameter of 20mm and a thickness of 2mm
Theoretical magnetic power per magnet: 3kg
The theoretical force of each magnet is 3kg in pull-out force. In the case of the flexidyme strip, the magnetizing power will be less important because of the rubber layer that separates the magnet from the ferrous surface.Double-sided magnetisation
The flexidyme strip can be used evenly on either side. Magnetise the strip on a metal support. You can then magnetise iron parts or other magnets on the flexidyme strip.Pay ATTENTION to the direction of polarity if you want to magnetise other neodymium magnets: the magnets on the flexidyme strip are all polarised in the same direction: the magnets are oriented north pole on one side and south pole on the other side.Strong magnetisation with neodymium magnets
Unlike magnetic rubber strips, the flexidyme strip contains strong neodymium magnets, which are much stronger than the ferrite particles used in the manufacture of magnetic rubber. It can be used as a magnetic tool bar.
The rough surface of the rubber will reduce slippage, which limits the loss of magnetising power on a vertical plane (e.g. a wall)Exclusive to magnetiques.fr
The Flexidyme tape is manufactured in our workshop in Sassenage, Isère. We use neodymium magnets which we insert into a 2mm thick milled rubber strip. We cover the magnets with a thin strip of rubber 1 mm thick on each side.
The magnets are separated by approximately 2cm to ensure that the rubber remains flexible.
{Lien070}, we can make products in different sizes, or with more thickness if you are looking for stronger magnets.
